We had the honor at Dara Global Arts Gallery to feature Ms. Areej Alqaisy,  An artist and an activist residing in the the Washington DC Metropolitan area.  We really wanted to feature Areej for her humanitarian efforts to support, encourage and promote young and emerging artists in a war torn city, Basra, Iraq.  More than ever, the emphasis into bringing hope to youngsters is so essential, and Areej understood it and took the initiative to plant such seed.  Let's together further explore the event that was hosted at Dara Global Arts.  We thank Al Iraqiya TV station for covering this event and for their efforts to always be on top of art events in this area :)
