"Saving What Remained" was part of the "World of the Unknowns" Solo Exhibition by Nadia Yass held at Dara Global Arts Gallery in February of 2019. The theme of the exhibit revolved around not knowing the destiny of the people who were displaced from their homeland during the Mesopotamian War. As a result of the war, many precious artifacts disappeared. The artifacts belonged not only to the Iraqi people, but to the entire Universe. The artist portrays a way to preserve these artifacts by saving them in whatever way she can....even bringing them to the unknown.
